Most men and women get more satisfaction, having sex not only for love, but also out of a sense of duty.
Scientists conducted a study involving 554 sexually active couples and found the exact answer, writes “The Times of India”.
Volunteers were asked to fill in special questionnaires. They had to specify opposite to each motivation for sex the degree of satisfaction from it.
Thus, most men and women get more satisfaction, having sex not only for love, but also out of a sense of duty. But for the sake of material gain or for success, sex does not bring much pleasure.
The lowest level of satisfaction is achieved during sex to increase self-esteem or to get something (work, alcohol, drugs).
Intimacy for reasons of revenge, the desire to reduce stress, the desire to orgasm, lose weight, get a new experience brings satisfaction to the average level.
By the way, psychology teachers at the University of Texas Cindy Meston and David bass, the authors of the book «Why women have sex», are sure that often the fair sex «pulls» on sex feeling sorry for the man, the desire to get rid of headaches and even «thank you for a good dinner».
