Two Italian ladies out of three remain unsatisfied
An estimated thirteen million people in Italy may not be satisfied with their own sex lives.
This was revealed by a study conducted by the Italian society of andrology and sexual medicine. Reports show that women's opinions are often sporadic and not always adequate. But, in fact, men are not in the best position. About eleven million are disappointed. A survey among partners revealed that more than 3 million people suffer from erectile dysfunction.
But if 95% of women would like to consider the issues through dialogue, then 20% of men bury their heads in the sand and refuse to even talk about it, 25% of men believe that erectile dysfunction needs to find a solution, and 75% representatives of the stronger sex prefer to go to the doctor without their partners.
The study was conducted through a survey involving more than 3,000 men and women aged 18 to 65 years, representatives of the General population. «The results show that both men and women are aware of the importance of sexual health,» says Mario Maggi, president of SIAMS and professor of endocrinology at the University of Florence. «Women today understand that breaking it may have an impact on their own well-being and want to look for solutions.»
